Can you stand by me?
Like the way it used to be?
That was what I was yearning all along,
You were the one who stand by,
Watching every step I took around,
Making sure I was safe and sound.
Your smiles, your words,
Had always deeply engraved in me,
How silly I was not to realize,
You were more than a friend to me.
Words now cant describe my feelings,
Those three words,
Cant express the depth of my feelings.
Just like winter snow,
How I wish you know,
How pure this love can be.
When I felt the fear,
How I wish you were here,
Holding on to my hand,
Telling me “its alright”
But those were just my dream sand,
Which was swept away by the reality wind.
Then I was standing there alone,
The cold went deep into my bone,
For someone that I love,
Where were you when I needed you the most?
